Most apartments are done in a single day. Multi-room installs or complex pipework routing may run into a second day — but we'll always tell you this after the survey, never on the day itself. No surprises.

No. We use floor protection and dust sheets throughout, route pipework as discreetly as possible — often hidden within the wall before exiting externally — and vacuum before we leave. Your flat should look exactly as it did. Just with a unit on the wall.

Yes — or a trusted person on your behalf. We're working inside your home and want you comfortable with every step as it happens.

Survey visits are usually available within a week. Once you've approved the quote and any building permissions are confirmed, we typically book installations within 2–3 weeks. Call us and we'll give you a realistic timeline for your specific situation.

Yes — and we do it all the time. Bedrooms, living rooms, home offices, and lofts can all be connected to a single outdoor unit via a multi-split system. In many cases, a two or three-room install is still completed within a single day.

We assess each property and find the most discreet position available. There are often options homeowners don't realise are possible — including partial or full concealment. A multi-split setup means multiple indoor units share one outdoor unit, reducing exterior clutter significantly.

It's rare, but it happens. If consent is refused, you don't pay — we only proceed once all approvals are in place. We'll help you understand the refusal and whether it can reasonably be challenged.

Modern split systems are extremely quiet — typically 19–26dB on low fan, which is below the level of a whispered conversation. Outdoor units are also designed to operate discreetly. They're nothing like the window boxes of the past.

Completely. When installed and set up correctly, it's safe for all occupants. It also filters airborne particles and dust, which actually improves indoor air quality — something particularly valuable in city apartments.

Yes. Every system we install is an air-to-air heat pump — it heats as well as cools. It's typically three to four times more efficient than a standard electric heater, so many of our customers find it becomes their preferred heating method in winter too.

Most modern units support app control — adjust the temperature, set schedules, and monitor your system from your phone before you even get home. A wall-mounted remote is included as standard.

Less than most people expect. Modern inverter-driven systems are highly efficient — running costs are significantly lower than portable units or electric heaters, especially when the system is properly sized for your space. That's something we always get right.

UK summers are getting warmer every year. But the bigger issue for apartments is that modern insulation — designed to keep heat in — means flats trap heat far more effectively than older houses. Once the walls absorb heat during the day, it radiates back at night. Air conditioning is the only solution that actively extracts that heat and expels it outside.

In the vast majority of residential cases, no. There are exceptions — listed buildings, certain conservation areas — and we'll flag any issues before you commit. Call us if you're unsure and we'll give you a straight answer.

Probably not — and we'd rather be honest about that. We don't cut corners on materials, labour, or finish. If you want a portable unit or the absolute lowest price, we're not the right fit. But if you want it done properly, to last, without needing us back — that's what we do.
